The Californios

Despite the Californios were not being treated right, they did leave a legacy behind in California. There was a global and historical impact. The Californios made an impact on California, as there are many Spanish-speaking cities open to the world, which lots of the world came in. Some people make up a "Spanish fantasy past", where they show images of Missions, such as the partly-realistic Santa Clara Mission (1849), which can still go on today. Also, several crops were grown in California. Many crops are grown, such as grapes and olives.
